WWU SMART PHONE
For their first annual Smart Phone Film Festival, a collaborative event featuring Walla Walla University’s School of Business and Film department, I was asked to create an event identity that represents the community’s passion for film making. The goal of the logo and aspects of the poster design is to be able to also represent future smart phone film festival events and advertising campaigns.
LOGO IDEATION ASSISTANCE
EQUATE DENTAL FLOSS
PACKAGING DESIGN RE-BRANDING
As a group, we picked a product’s packaging to re-brand, ideated initial design concepts, and agreed on a final design solution. We agreed that the color needed to be changed to accommodate the “fresh” appeal of dental products. We simplified the design graphics by removing unnecessary color splotches and flossing written directions. We also moved the plastic thermoform container from the front of the packaging to the back to reduce three dimensional clutter.
My individual contribution included using SolidWorks to create a floss mold. I also set up the 3D print and prepared the completed print for thermoforming. I assisted in vacuum forming the final plastic mold and contributed to the final packaging assembly.

WELDING CLASSES AVAILABILITY
For this project, I was asked by Linda Felipez, professor and chair of the technology department at Walla Walla University, to create a poster that would be used to promote the department’s welding classes for the upcoming quarter. She suggested that I incorporate a photograph of the metal rose that I recently completed as a welding class project in the poster. The poster was displayed in hallways across campus as an 11×17 inch print and was part of my Tech. Department work experience at WWU.
CONSUMER BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS
OPTIMIZATION STRATEGIES for SUCCESSFUL PRODUCT LAUNCHES
A project for the Wilkinson Baking Company to analyze their opportunities for improvement on user interactions with their bread baking machine, known as the BreadBot.
The Wilkinson Baking Co. approached our team with a request to gauge the success of customer interactions with their BreadBot machine, as they approach a launch of their machine in stores across the nation.
Deliverables included a presentation to Wilkinson executives and a large format (3×4 Ft.) poster. As a team, we conducted studies on the consumer base, completed both on-site consumer observation and analysis. We collected the found data and insight emerged from the project’s findings. We also designed the final presentation and poster together as a team.
